I want to say grazie a voi (thank you all) for supporting Via Benincasa’s first week!! When Joe completed his residency, we wanted to go on an epic two week Italian vacation to celebrate. We traveled from the north to the deep south, visited big cities, chic beach towns and ventured through the southern canyons, where we stayed in a luxury cave hotel!

I’m often asked what are the best cities to go to–whether you’re an Italy first timer or you’ve been to the major cities and want to try something a bit off the beaten path.
